I’m thinking about getting a wireless (Bluetooth) headset for use with Skype. Since they now have free domestic calling and I picked up a SkypeIn number, I thought about giving a wireless headset a shot. Plus, I think it would be perfect for my wife in and around the kitchen. So, if you’ve found something that works well and has good range, high sound quality and decent battery life.

Anyone?

Picked up a Motorola H7000 when I got my new V3 Razor recently… and am suprisingly amazed at the sound quality in comarison to a few of my friends headsets.. even ones that spent a little more on theirs

Have tried it out in both Ventrillo and Temspeak however and have heard complaints regarding my voice sounding “Tinny”… not sure if it could be corrected but have gone back to my usual headset.

Picked up a Motorola H7000 recently and when connected to my V3 Razor I have been amazed at its sound quality… even when 20-30 feet away from my phone

Though recently I tried testing it out on both Teamspeak and Ventrillo and have heard numerous complaints about my voice sounding a bit “Tinny”… and well… as a fellow Dirge I’m sure you can agree that’s simply not acceptable hehehe

never did try to tweak it though.. have just resumed the use of my wired headset

I think you’ve got the same conclusion I ended up with. Wireless just sucks compared to nice headsets like the USB GameCom Pro and other options. So I’m sticking with big and clunky but sounds good versus sleek and sexy and sounds like crap.
